All three cities run their own low-cost, curb-to-curb van service for seniors — for medical AND everyday trips. Drivers help you in and out and can carry a couple of grocery bags.
Glendale
65+ (or disabled any age with a doctor's note). $1.50 each way; free to city meal sites; a care attendant rides free. Serves Glendale, La Cañada Flintridge, Montrose, La Crescenta.
Burbank
60+ (or disabled any age; physician form available in English, Spanish, Armenian). $1 each way. Book: (818) 238-5360, 8:30am–noon Mon–Fri, one day ahead (Monday trips: book Friday). Rides inside Burbank, plus limited Glendale/North Hollywood medical trips two days a week. Income-qualified? Ask about Burbank PASS fare help, (818) 238-5300.
Pasadena
60+ (or under 60 with an Access membership or LACTOA disabled TAP card); serves Pasadena, San Marino, Altadena + nearby county areas. 75¢ each way. Steps: ① get a Senior Reduced Fare TAP card — (626) 744-4094 ② submit the Dial-A-Ride application + proof of residency (online, mail, or in person) ③ call to activate, then book rides at (626) 791-7200, 24 hours ahead. Applications in English, Spanish, Armenian, Chinese, Korean, Tagalog.
